ChiroYoga™ Seminars
Chiroyoga™ Seminars introduce the principles of alignment and posture, anatomy and biomechanics that are the basis of today's study of yoga and the practice of yoga therapy.
The workshops explore specifically how these principles can enhance the chiropractic practice in our evaluation, adjustment and re-hab protocols.
The course is technical, yet hands-on and user-friendly. It is not intended to challenge or replace any chiropractic method but to instead sharesome true gems of insight from this age-old system that will inspire most chiropractic approaches.
Some prior knowledge of yoga is helpful but not required to attend.
All yoga practice during the seminar will be at a safe, "all-levels" intensity.
At 18 million practitioners and growing, yoga is today’s fastest growing personal practice for health and fitness. Yoga focuses on structural alignment and correct posture. Central to its principles is the role the spine plays in health and wellbeing. Yoga even has a well-accepted concept of an innate “life force” that us vital and alive.
At the same time, media reports an alarming number of yoga related injuries!
The growing popularity of yoga offers chiropractors a great professional opportunity. Who is better than the chiropractor to serve the health care needs of the yoga practitioner?
If chiropractors can understand the structural principles used in yoga poses, we can address their issues in powerfully, effective ways.
