and alignment principles specifically for yoga teacher training courses. He also offers programs in nutrition and Ayurveda
for yoga teacher trainings and advanced programs in yoga-based therapeuitcs.
ChiroYoga™ Seminars:
The chiropractic program, ChiroYoga™ Seminars, is available for continuing education credit
in a 12-hour weekend workshop.
Dr Weiss also
offers shorter presentations at seminars and chiropractic conventions, etc.
ChiroYoga™ Therapy
One-on-one
holistic bodywork and consultation, ChiroYoga Therapy, is available by arrangement on a limited basis before or after workshops or at his home location in Sarasota, FL.
Combining years of study and clinical experience in both chiropractic
and yoga, Dr. Weiss has developed an eclectic blend of bodywork called ChiroYoga™ Therapy. Chiropractic methods, from
the more subtle and esoteric, such as SOT and AK, along with Motion Palpation and traditional adjustment are interwoven with
yoga therapy, clinical orthopedic assessment, muscle therapies, and various other complementary forms of bodywork. The result
is a flowing, meditative bodywork experience- a healing dance. The work promotes the surrender into "ease" - that
vital state of our being that is necessary for healing, injury recovery, or to simply be healthy and whole. When free of structural
tension, the body can move from a state of dis-ease towards ease and a fuller expression of health.
